Iโ€™ve been grinding Ultimate Team all cycle, but Season 10 feels like standing in a departure lounge where half the doors close permanently at midnight. It replaced Season 9 on August 13, 2026, and it is the final chapter of EA SPORTS FC 26. This season is not about building a squad from zero or chasing the next promo wave. It is about finishing the FC 26 grind properly and setting myself up for FC 27 before the transition locks me out of the rewards that actually matter.

Two progression tracks run in parallel: the free Season Pass and the paid Premium Pass. Both include player items, packs, Evolutions, and Player Picks, but the FC 27 carryover rewards scattered throughout are the real reason I am paying attention.

The free track asks for no additional spend. Working through the Season Ladder unlocks packs, player items, Coins, and season-specific content. For a final season, it is surprisingly generous. I can earn Sommer FUTTIES, Jimenez FUTTIES, Casemiro FUTTIES, Bernardo Silva FUTTIES, and Putellas FUTTIES near the end of the ladder. The pack list is stacked: multiple 86+, 88+, and 89+ Rare Gold Players Packs, 92+ FUTTIES Re-Release Batch 1 and Batch 2 packs with 10 each, 92+ FUTTIES Re-Release Batch 4 packs, and 97+ FUTTIES Players Packs x5. There are also two Evolutions, Counter Culture and Hard Yards.

Other free track highlights include a 60,000 Coins or 90+ Rare Gold Players Pack x5 choice milestone, a 1 of 3 FOF Summer Stars Tournament Winners Player Pick, a 5 of 20 94+ Season in Review Player Pick, and packs for FC 27.

Free Track Category Key Rewards
Players Sommer, Jimenez, Casemiro, Bernardo Silva, Putellas FUTTIES
Packs 86+/88+/89+ Rare Gold, 92+ FUTTIES Re-Release, 97+ FUTTIES x5
Evolutions Counter Culture, Hard Yards
Choices & Picks 60k Coins vs 90+ Pack x5, 94+ Season in Review, FC 27 packs

If I am still completing expensive endgame SBCs or planning to buy specific players before FC 27 launches, the 60,000 Coins milestone is usually worth taking over the pack option. A guaranteed pile of coins gives me control, while a pack is just a roll of the dice.

The Premium Pass layers another reward track on top of free progression. The extras are weighted toward higher-end content, but the value calculation is messier this late in the cycle. Premium-exclusive rewards include Wilson FUTTIES, Ake FUTTIES, Andrey Santos FUTTIES, Goncalo Ramos FUTTIES, Robertson FUTTIES, Cordoba FUTTIES Hero, and the biggest single reward: Vieira FUTTIES Icon. There are also 1 of 2 90+ Rare Gold Players Picks, 5 of 20 88+ Rare Gold Players Picks, FUTTIES Team 1 through 4 Player Picks, a 5 of 20 94+ Season in Review Player Pick, Two-Way Titan Evolution, SP bonuses, and an FC 27 pack.

I wonโ€™t buy the Premium Pass based on overall ratings alone. A 97+ or 99 OVR card is not automatically useful when FUTTIES has already pushed the power curve so high. Before spending, I check whether the premium player rewards actually improve my current squad. Also, if I have an eligible Premium Pass Token, I verify whether it applies to Season 10 specifically, because EA separates generic tokens from season-specific ones.

This is where Season 10 separates itself from every previous season. Two distinct paths unlock content that carries over into FC 27 after the new game launches. Finishing all four Pre-Season Objective weeks nets four 81+ x3 packs, an 83+ Tradeable 1 of 3 Player Pick, and 60,000 FC 27 Coins total. Hitting Level 30 separately adds an 82+ x7 pack and the Quick Step EVO Consumable on top.

Carryover Path FC 27 Rewards
All four Pre-Season weeks 4x 81+ x3 packs, 83+ Tradeable 1 of 3 Player Pick, 60k FC 27 Coins
Level 30 82+ x7 pack, Quick Step EVO Consumable

Those are real head-start resources. The tradeable Player Pick has genuine transfer market value at the start of a new cycle. I keep reminding myself that my FC 26 squad, FUTTIES cards, Coins, and SBC players do not carry over. Only rewards explicitly labeled as FC 27 carryover content will appear in the new game.

Season Points remain the currency that pushes me up the Season Ladder. Not every match generates SP, so I target the right Objectives. The fastest sources are Daily Objectives, Weekly Objectives, Seasonal Objective Groups, Live Events, Rivals/Squad Battles/Champions challenges, Pre-Season Objectives, and limited-time SP milestones. The most efficient approach is to stack objectives. If one challenge requires wins with players from a specific league and another requires matches in the same mode, one squad can satisfy both. Stacking objectives is like braiding three ropes into a single cable: it takes a little planning, but it pulls far more weight than doing each strand alone.

Pre-Season Objectives are the highest-priority SP source because they progress both my Season Ladder and my FC 27 carryover rewards at the same time. I do those before anything else.

Season 10 and FUTTIES run at the same time but serve different purposes. Season 10 is the progression system: Season Pass, SP, Objectives, Evolutions, and Pre-Season content. FUTTIES is the endgame promo: special cards, SBCs, and pack content. The fourth and final FUTTIES squad arrives during Season 10, and the Premium track includes FUTTIES Team 1 through 4 Player Picks, so the two systems are tightly connected even if they are technically separate.

For most active players, the Premium Pass decision depends on Vieira. If I want that FUTTIES Icon and do not have a Premium Pass Token, the question is whether that specific card improves my squad. The rest of the premium rewards are strong but available through other routes this late in the cycle. The Premium Pass makes clear sense if I expect to complete most or all Season 10 levels, already have an eligible token, need high-rated fodder for expensive SBCs, or plan to keep playing through the full Pre-Season period. Skip it if the squad is already finished and I am just waiting for FC 27. Paying for 97+ cards I wonโ€™t use is like polishing a trophy shelf on a sinking boat.

With limited time left in FC 26, my priority order is simple: FC 27 carryover rewards first, including Level 30 and all four Pre-Season Objective weeks; limited-time Pre-Season milestones before they expire; high-value player rewards that genuinely improve my active squad; high-rated fodder and Player Picks for remaining SBCs; and finally FC 26-only packs and consumables, which are the lowest priority. An FC 26 player may stay relevant for a few weeks, but 60,000 FC 27 Coins and an 83+ Tradeable Player Pick will matter on day one of the next game.
