I have been spending most of my Ultimate Team sessions inside EA SPORTS FC 26 trying to clear the Pre-Season Wilson objective group, and I can honestly say this is one of the more efficient sets we have had during this FUTTIES period. The Wilson set is currently active as one of four objective collections needed to eventually unlock the FUTTIES Del Piero item. Since only the Callum Wilson group is available right now, I want to make sure I finish every task before the limited window disappears. The rewards are strong enough to justify the time, but the real trick is using a single squad that covers all four requirements at once instead of grinding separate lineups.

After looking at the conditions, I realized the objectives are designed to overlap. The four tasks have different names and requirements, but they all point toward the same type of squad: English Premier League players that I already own as first-owned items. Instead of changing my team after every match, I built one lineup around English attackers and midfielders from the Premier League.
Here is exactly what each task asks from me in the current set:
| Objective | Requirement | Completion target |
|---|---|---|
| Premier Journey | Start at least 3 Premier League players | Play 5 matches |
| Three Lions | Start at least 2 England players | Win 3 matches by 2 or more goals |
| Winner Winner | Start at least 6 first-owned players | Win 8 matches |
| Deadly Finish | Score with a ST | Score 5 goals |
The requirements almost stack perfectly. At least 3 Premier League players handle Premier Journey. If I pick English Premier League options, those same players can also cover Three Lions. The first-owned condition is the only one that needs careful attention, because every item I use in the starting 11 must come from packs, objectives, rewards, or SBCs rather than the transfer market.
I put together a squad with six first-owned cards, three of them from the Premier League, two of them English, and one of those English Premier League players as my striker. That one striker then works toward the five goals needed for Deadly Finish across all matches. I do not need separate teams for separate tasks, and that saves me a huge amount of time.
⚠️ First-owned means any player item I packed, earned through objectives, claimed as a reward, or received from an SBC. Any player bought from the transfer market does not count. I always double-check my starting 11 before searching for a match because accidentally placing one purchased player in the first-owned slots can break Winner Winner and force me to replay games.
The best place to complete this is Squad Battles. I set the difficulty to Semi-Pro at minimum because that is the accepted floor for these tasks. Moving up to World Class or Legendary does not give extra credit by itself, but it does make it easier to win matches by two or more goals consistently, which matters for Three Lions. Since Winner Winner requires eight wins, that is the longest part. Premier Journey only needs five matches played, not wins, so it finishes naturally while I chase the eight wins. Three Lions also completes along the way if I keep winning by at least two goals.
For Deadly Finish, scoring five goals with my striker over eight matches is very manageable. I try to force the ball into the striker early and then keep pushing for a comfortable margin. In Squad Battles, I control the pace, so I can repeat simple attacking patterns and avoid unnecessary stress.
The reward path is worth the grind. Completing all four tasks unlocks the Callum Wilson FUTTIES card plus a stack of packs and tokens:
-
🎁 10x 84+ Rare Gold Players Pack
-
🎁 6x 85+ Rare Gold Players Pack
-
⭐ 1 of 5 88+ Rare Gold Players pick
-
⭐ 1 of 5 88+ Rare Gold Players pick
-
🔹 500 SP
-
🔹 100 FUTTIES Tokens
-
🃏 Callum Wilson FUTTIES card
The two 88+ player picks are the standout rewards for me. Having two chances to choose from five 88-rated or higher players gives a genuine shot at packing something useful for the starting squad or selling for coins. The 100 FUTTIES Tokens also feed into the wider FUTTIES exchange, so they have value beyond this single set.
I am treating this Wilson objective as the first major step toward the FUTTIES Del Piero item. Since Del Piero requires four objective sets, finishing Wilson early keeps my account on track for the rest of the promo. At the same time, the tokens and packs give me immediate upgrades while I wait for the other three objective groups to arrive. If I am already working on other live objectives, I like to stack this with other FUTTIES or squad-based objectives, but the most important thing is to lock in the Wilson set before the window closes.
